French Polishing
Hey all,
I have made a couple of coffee tables from some Nth QLD Silky Oak and wanted to french polish them.
I have done about six coats with a White shellac and then started a couple of coats on the top with a U-Beaut Hard Shellac.
The problem is I think I must have rubbed too much or used too much metho or something. In one corner of one table it looks like I have somehow removed the shellac back to the wood (or close to it).
How do I bring this corner back up to the same level as the other areas of the table top and still have that nice french polished surface?
Any advice would be great.
I would add photos but can't remember how.Cheers
