Angry Tunes you can't get out of your head...

Firstly apologies to anyone this adversely affects today...

I simply cannot get the theme music from one of the TV programmes my kids watch out of my head. Miffy the Rabbit cartoon...Aaargh:mad:

When I first heard it I thought they were saying Mixy which I thought a very amusing add-on for the parents but now it's just driving me crazy, anyone else suffering?

Busy buses is another I'm struggling with at the moment.....

It's Mixy the rabbit. Myximitosis - geddit? Evil humour for a nippers programme, methinks.

How about 'Take me driving in your car, car' - or any playschool stuff. How come choldren need to listen to the same CD 4000 times? And that's just one way to Hobart.

    Hey

My kids have just discovered the wiggles, yeh they like it all the time, but it sure beats the heck out of two screaming kids when you are trying to cook dinner of an evening. I can personally live without hearing the Bob the builder intro to every episode that we have on DVD, however it does tend to bring their attention back to the TV.

Before anybody comments we do not use the TV as a child minding service, just sometimes it is nice to let them watch something that they absolutely adore at a time when they are tired crotchety and you have other important things to do so they can go to bed with full stomachs and wake up happy and adorable again.

Reminds me of a sketch we did when I was a kid. Kid 1 enters stage left, visibly upset: "help, look out for the Viper. The Viper is coming" and exits stage right. Kid 2 enters stage left, much the same thing. Repeat a few more times to give everyone a go. Evil looking person dressed in black and resembling Boris Carloff enters stage left "I am the Viper." Produces roll of toilet paper and flourishing same in the air exits stage right in hot pursuit.

    Dutiful parents laugh.

You gotta love Nick Jr and the "Reason" they use for repeating the same episode every day for a week.

My boy (19 months old) Shouts Face every time that bloody face appears and thinks it's hysterical.
