Unstable installation of hot water unit.
Hi all,
We're getting ready to settle on a townhouse that we'll be renting out and I'm concerned about the positioning and stability of the hot water service. Initially they had the sliding door opening about 30cm away from the hot water unit but I had a go at them and they swapped the door around so that it opens from the other side. I'm now concerned about the stability of the unit as it is easily rocked by hand. I have been told that they have been issued the C of O but can't understand how that's possible.
My question is two fold -
1. How stable should the unit be? It's currently being held level by a couple of off cut tiles sitting on concrete. :)(
2. They have the outdoor tap right behind the hot water unit yet the drain point for that tap is at the opposite side of the yard. Is this passable?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Dr - 307.
