Extend slab floor bathroom into floor board area?
Howdy,
Long time reader, first time poster
I have a suspended slab floor bathroom that I am looking to enlarge by extending into an adjacent area that has floor boards. Is this a bad idea?
Will i need to tear up the floor boards and replace with cement sheeting or similar? Even then is this a recipe for cracking later on along the slab/floorboard boundary due to different material expansion properties?
cheers
