Preserving raw wood color on frames
Hello, I am an artist who wants to frame some drawings using raw wood, birch perhaps. The issue is that the wood becomes yellow over time. Is there anyway to preserve the fresh look of the wood? A UV sealer? Or is it the acid in the wood?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am working in Germany at the moment, the show would have so many frames, I need to find a cheaper solution and possibly make them myself. We are talking maybe 60 works framed.
