Ant capping
Hi all,
Okay. House lifted. Underslab plumbing done. Slab poured. External frames fabricated and ready for installation but I have a question. We've had all the pest prevention stuff done, (Kordon, chemical barrier), and will have more than 75mm of exposed concrete everywhere around the house but I would also like to install ant capping between the slab and the bottom plate that forms part of the external framing.
My question is how to do this. The ant capping look something like this...

I am unsure if the internal upright lip sits vertical and is attached to the inside of the frame or if it is to be laid flat and to be secured under the floor battons.
Secondly, should I use anything like sikaflexx between the ant capping and the slab?
Thanks again in advance
