Printer issues.
Well i've just lashed out and bought a new computer. Last one was 8 years old and a bit tired and slow.
Old one ran XP and the new one has Vista Home premium. But my printer (also 8 yrs old) doesnt want to do its job. Worked perfectly while connected to my old pc but no action now.
Thinking it was a compatibility issue between XP and Vista for the printer driver i visited the manufacturers website (epson) for an update with no luck. I checked all connections and even tried the usb in a different location.
Maybe my printer is just too old and destined for the scrapheap. Would be a shame as it's been a great unit.
I know new printers are cheap as chips these days But it seem a waste to just chuck it. Any ideas on how i can get it going.
Thanks.
Steven.

Might be useful if you told us the printer model number.

I googled, and found this solution in a forum. Read down the posts until you get to a response from Don in UK. Looks looks an out of box solution.
