Concrete Slab over Electric cable
Hi All
Does anyone know if its acceptable to put a new concrete slab for an extension over an existing burried electric cable.
The 16mm cable is supplying my house and runs right across an area where I plan to build an extension. The cable is burried 600mm. The concrete will consist of 400 to 500mm footings with 100mm slab. My house is in Victoria.
Apart from obviously taking care during excavation, are there any regs that will mean this cable has to be dug up and rerouted?
Thanks
Mike
