Silkscreen Finish
Well first of im new, hi, I am going to start making a plaque for an item of mine though, i want to know how to silkscreen a piece of wood so its shinny, I think its like glossy paint or something. Can someone please tell me what i have to get, do, in order to silkscreen finish myplaque.

Silkscreen is not a woodworking term.
Its a painting process using a fine detail stencil to put graphics or text on media.

Oh ok sorry becasue on a site it said Silkscreen Wood so i assuemed that it was something to do with woodwork.

Jordan,
after you make your plaque, sand it and apply a glossy (or satin) finish you will be able to screen print (no silk used nowadays) a design onto it. Do a search on screen printing on this BB as It has been covered somewhat in the past.
