Best Order for bathroom installations
Whats the best order of the following tasks for fitting my new bathroom.
(All elect/plumbing rough in has been done & Plasters have just finished)
-Undercoating/Priming Ceiling/Walls & Painting ceiling
-Wall Tiling
-Floor Tiling
-Grout - assuming this gets done at same time as tiling although I have seen some people do this very last?
-Also can some recommend a tile adhesive or are they pretty much all the same? (upstairs bathroom with villaboard on the walls)
-Vanity install - Or does this go in before any tiling? (wall hung)
-Toilet install - it is a back to the wall toilet, do I tile behind it or does back to the wall mean that it gets tile around the edges like the vanity?
-plumbing fitoff of toilet/vanity/shower
-Shower screen installed over tiles
-Mirror - again is this stuck to the wall before or after tiling? Whats the best product to stick it on with?
-Bath - Well I know this should go in at the time of tiling but it's on order & delivery is at least 3 weeks away so we are going to leave a tile or two off where the plumber will need to put a hole for fit off.
-electrical fit off both wall & ceiling lights/fan.
Thanks all
