plastering over vents
hi guys! been reading all the posts here for a while so i thought id better join! lol....anyway im halfway through a reno on a 50~60 yo house and im wondering if i can plaster over those hideous looking vents ,see attached pics.in the loungeroom.
i know they are there for a good purpose but are they to ventilate the wall cavity or the room itself? we have knocked a few walls down and turned it into a openish plan so room ventilation wont be an issue.i just friggin hate the look of the things!:~
p.s i wish id have found this forum last year before i made all my stupid noobish reno ballsups:doh:.just finished the kitchen and ill post a few before and after pics later.cheers:cool:
