Anyone know the hourly fuel consumption of the old oil heaters? (The ones that burn oil with a tank outside, not electric column heaters).

A friend has just moved into a rental property which has one of these in the lounge room and they do need to watch their budget fairly closely. So they'd just like to know how much fuel it's burning per hour.

It's a Vulcan brand heater and I'd assume manufactured in the 1970's. It's a two sided model in the wall, colour is grey. Has a knob on the front for the oil flow and another knob for the air flow. Also has a two speed fan and the ignition is electric.

They normally run it on the lowest oil flow setting.

I'm not looking for info on the efficiency, I know they are somewhere around 75% efficient. What I'm looking for is the actual heat output / oil consumption per hour.
