    Hello all. I am new to this forum and look forward to seeing what you are all making down here. I am mostly a pen turner but also do picture framing. But that is the extent of my wood working. I look forward to visiting and making new friends on here.

    Cedar Rapids is a place we have heard of before this, but I can't recall why. Is there something noteworthy about the area, or it's history?
