    Default Dinner meeting

Three friends from long time ago, an Italian, a Greek and Spaniard got together to have dinner in a very nice restaurant Rome. Now you have to guess who paid for the dinner.
If no one comes up with the right answer by tomorrow I will let you know.

Too embarrassed to say "I don't get it" Joe, so will
wait until Wednesday at the club and ask you to
    explain it.

    Allan

Edit: Just went to make a cup of coffee and the penny dropped
... no need to explain it after all Joe.

    Default reminds of this

This reminds of this joke put up by fenderbelly recently
I' still laughing at both of these, keep up the good work, lightens up the day

Angela Merkel arrives at Passport Control at Athens airport.

    "Nationality?" asks the immigration officer.

    "German," she replies.

    "Occupation?"

"No, just here for a few days
