Default From white to woodstain appearance

    Hi,

I have a spice rack which has been painted white.
I want to change it to a wood stained appearance.
Is there a product available that will do this without me having to rub back all the white paint? (It is pine under the paint)

    Thanks for any help.

Paint Stripper. I'm in the UK so not sure of your local products but Bunnies or other Hardware store will carry something.

Just make sure you have sufficient nutraliser (the tin will say what) ready to hand when you use it.

But check on the age first, if you've inherited it or it's of any age it might be lead based paint.
