Running cables near fireproof board
Hey guys, just stumbled on this site a few days back and thought i'd join the fun:U
my question today is ...does the the cavity between fire proofing sheets (not sure what its called but they are usually used between units) and timber frames have to be left empty??.. or can cables be run between??
reason i ask is that a previous employer said that cables have to be run in the timber frames and not in cavity but my current workmate spoke to an inspector and he said its the 1st he has heard of it and we can run our cables in the cavity.
anyone had experience with this stuff??
