Default Wooden window has a damp spot

Hi all I have a wooden window with an area on the left bottom side that has a damp area and I would like to stop this getting wet and damp before I paint it.

I've replaced the 1/4 wood dowel that holds the glass in on the outside and used a good silicone and sanded and painted the whole outside window, I did this thinking the damp area was happening because of the old worn out 1/4 dowel and poor condition of the old paint and silicone but it still happens so I beaded some silicone around the window frame outside between the wood and the weatherboards but its still there

I haven't yet removed any weatherboards at the bottom of the window because I would like to know if people here have had the same problem as mine happens when it rains and when it doesn't on a cold night but on a good warm day the damp area dries up and looks fine, below is a picture of the damp spot and I know it looks like its getting in right near the glass at the bottom but I cleaned away all the old silicone, used new silicone and painted it with primer then top coat and did a great job so I doubt its coming from the outside

Condensation, looks like your doing a big make over of a room or whole house , suggest you leave a window slightly open at night and allow a cross flow of air in the room and if you are using a heater to dry things out this will make the room sweat as well.
