    Default frozen in canberra time

    G'day guys and gals,

My name's Luke and I live in Canberra. While I've had an appreciation for fine woodwork for a while, it's only recently that I've started collecting the tools and the knowledge to get stuck in myself. My main area of interest at the moment is classical guitars. I hope that those of you that are building won't mind me picking your brains at various points over the next year. I'll try not to make my questions too painful

Other projects coming up soon are a timber slab bar for a friend, coffee table for another friend and a bed head for me. Any excuse to get on the tools, right?

Anyway, just thought I'd say g'day.

Luke welcome to the shed so to speak.

Only thing I can suggest about your location is move north its warmer.

Plenty brains to pick here none really much in use in ACT ..........we understand your predicament.

G'day & Welcome to a top forum Luke,
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most, very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo especially WIP photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork,
    Cheers, crowie

PS - I thought that Canberra had enough hot air to keep the whole country warm.....lol.

Welcome to the forum. You are correct any excuse to get on the tools but if you have another half then you need to produce something from spending time on the tools.

Hi Luke! Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to seeing your projects! It is not the temperature that is bad in Canberra - it seems that timber is more expensive here than up north.
