True Story
One of our group's turners, known for his wisdom and wit as well as his masterful displays of turning contracted cancer. He was in hospital undergoing chemo and just when things were lookin up he took a turn for the worse.
Thankfully he rallied and is on the mend. He informed the assembled throng at his bedside that he had almost carked it but on getting to the pearly gates turned around and came back. He wasn't going to enter any place with such badly turned and finished finials!Last edited by artme; 3rd September 2009 at 11:01 AM.
