Hi All
Stumbled across the site and whammo I'm in heaven. I have only recently taken up the hobby of furniture restoration, however I have had an avid interest in woodwork since I was very young...watching my Dad construct some lovely pieces. As I am a noob, I am realising that I require knowledge in the different eras of furniture and the stains and finishes I should use to fully restore a vintage (or antique if I ever manage) piece.
Anyway, that's about it. I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you.
Happy Australia Day for tomorrow
Jen

LOL, I have managed to restrain myself, however once the Christmas hangover is over I might meander over and have a sticky beak.

Hi Jen, welcome to the forum.
