I think Mick's post should be made a sticky at the top of every forum.

I read shedhands pot about the pope's dovetails.
I think he might have been taken out of context there.
I read it to be waste of good dovetails to be put on a coffin and buried, not a waste of good dovetails on the pope. I suppose it depends on how you read it.
Biggest prblem with forums like this is that the emotion beinhd a post is not easily conveyed and sometimes a joke or sarcasim is lost!

How to win friends and influence people...
Wow!! I know that Shedhand is a bit rambunctious, but could it be that he's not feeling at his best after trying to rip his hand a couple of days ago?
On my part, I agree with those advocating self-control on the fora, but come to my shed on a bad day and you'd better bring earplugs if you don't like the occasional blue tinge in the air .Cheers,
Craig

Mick, you said it beautifully and I thank you for it!
Shedhand, you can be a waste of oxygen and aren't really needed here, however, I dare say that if you have something to contribute that isn't just vulgar rubbish then you will be as welcome as anyone else.
To knock like you have is just plain stupid, I am proud to say that has been a good friend of mine since well before this forum was thought of, and a more even handed, fair and broad minded bloke you will NOT find anywhere. SINCE this forum has been in existence and since it has grown to be as successful as it is has made an enormous number of newer friends and so I suggest that any newchum upstart who denigrates him is going to cop loads!
Oh, and if you grand daughter has a t shirt with that stuff on it then you need to talk to her parents as they obviously dint raise her too good!

I don't enter into these types of discussions often. However I get the feeling (and this is only my opinion) that members are getting disgruntled and I fear that some may slowly disappear from the BB altogether. I have to say DON'T GO...I still have so much to learn from you ALL. Yes everyone has there own opinion on everything and that is what it is an opinion, good or bad who am I to say they are wrong?
But I will leave with these words...the law/rule doesn't have to be just it just have to be the law/rule.....and if the law/rule says no swearing or offending of others then thats it.....end of story.
