    Knew a lady in Sydney who's name was Amanda and she married a guy who's surname was Amanda, so she became Amanda Amanda

    Unfortunate names for Police:

    I went to the NSW Police Academy with Constable Ray Constable, but he's broken the jinx & is now Sergeant Constable.

    Spare a thought for Peter Shonk, last I heard an Inspector in the NSW Police.

    All the Allianz letters are signed by Mr Terry Towel.

    Even shortened, it's still T. Towel

    One job already had an "arose" computer account, so they dropped the "o" in the first account they offered me...

    (and just as an aside, the Watanobbi residents are sick of the council calling referendums, polls, and surveys trying to change the name. They couldn't be bothered with it, they knew the name when they moved in.)

    My dentist in Glen Waverley when I was a kid was Dr Payne!
    My woodwork teacher at Mt Waverley high was a Mr Fluck. kids gave him hell.

    I used to go to a Dentist in Wellington, New Zealand, who was a Dr. F.A.Payne.
    He was too much of a gentleman to use his initials to advantage.
