No snow here but a couple of heavy hail storms, snow to 500m, we are about 499 below that, give or take a few cm's.
Horses actually retreated to the stable of their own free will.
As for trudging through everything to feed them, bugger that, they'll come over when you rattle the feed buckets

There's a poignant photo of the Tolmie pub in todays SunHerald. Shows the deck of the pub in the fires earlier this year and the snow yesterday.
