Replace Dishwasher Hot Water Hose
Recently the hose fitting cracked at the tap causing it to "blow" off. Luckily I was home and could turn the tap off.
I have brought a new hose and tried to replace it but I musn't be strong enough to do it up tight enough and it blew again threading part of the new hose connection.
If I leave the sealing washer off (the seal that has mesh in the center of it) I can get it to do up all the way to the top of the thread. If I try and get it on with the sealer washer I cant.
Can I leave that washer off all together and use some teflon tape instead to seal the hose? I know I could just pay someone to come and look at it for me but it seems such a simple job.
