I'm about to have some electrical work done on a kitchen as it is being renovated, I'm not using my regular sparky (he is fully booked til end of Feb) who I know to be very good in terms of regs, instead I am using a local guy that I haven't used before.

I am having a switch put in to isolate the cook top as it used to be a free standing unit and I'm also having power put in for the new range hood as there wasn't one there before. Can the power to the range hood be ran on the same circuit as the oven and stove top? Assuming that the wiring and CB is sized to handle the extra load.

I want to know the answer prior to asking him to see if he one of these "I don't see why not, so yeah" guys.

Thanks
