    I found this on an IT forum a few years back. It caused great hilarity among the forumites. There was a girl who was a student at a US uni (could have been Columbia), whose name was Mary Elizabeth Cummings. The rule for email addresses at the Uni was first 6 letters of the surname and the two initials. She said she couldn't wait till she finished Uni. True dinks!

    OK this is a true story.

    I had a client to go and see and the details given me by head office was.

    Mr. C. Dickup. So I felt I couldn't address my client as such in case the office were putting me on a wind up. So I addressed him as Mr. Dickens (just as bad really) but no the gentleman corrected me and I somehow got caught up by the clients wifes eyes which had a strange expression.

    I had a staff member of Pakisatni origin, His surname was harkeem. One of the user Id supplied by work, used the surname and your first initial. The problem was his first name started with F.

    I got a call from security, when they were setting this up and asked me if I was taking the (I hadn't worked it out yet). When they explained, we both ourselves. Poor guy, he didn't deserve it

    Oh Yeah good old Wayne King And Wayne Kerr heard that one all before a mate of mine use to work with a bloke in Sydney and his name was Lorne Bowlin seriously i am sure there is a politician named Richard Face another clanger!
