Thread: LIVE FROM Melbourne WWW Show!

These questions relate to products that are being sold at the show by others (ie Timbercon, Carbetech etc). If they are after info on the product, send them to the suppliers.
If they are asking for reviews by forum members, then fair enough, teach them how to do a search. Should be the first thing newbies learn anyway
Ps See you tomorrow, I'm about to catch the plane.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

See this is why a live cam feed back to us in other states that couldn't make it would be excelent.
Members who are at the show could walk round showing us whats there

Phew! End of day one. We spoke to the hordes and converted more than a few of them. I hope members are helpful over the next few weeks as we will have a number of new members bumbling around.
The day ebbed and flowed, at times they were two deep with three forumites going flat chat (pun intended).
Thanks to the helpers for the day, great effort.
Tomorrow will see some pictures posted (hopefully).
PS: - live cams may be something for another year, the technology is a bit beyond us here for the present.

I was on duty early today and it was my pleasure to help out.
It was good to put faces to several names and to spread the word about the forums. Hopefully most will join us in our own madhouse.
Many could not believe that we were offering something for no charge.Tom

Spook well done to all at the show
I know I am only a newbie looking at some of these old shed hands. I can still see when a good effort and hard work is put in.
Live cam well that was just sticking it inthe server would be overloaded for sure.
Then again those who are at the show could also cause a riot by showing off their bargins.

Hi all,
How about a reverse query?
I'm gearing up for the summer wood working projects.
Got lucky finding this thread and surprised the WWW is on today!
My Triton Power Respirator fan has died.
Anyone know if Triton are being represented at the show this year?
Are they still selling the Respirator?
Are they offering any show prices?
What's the show price for the respirator?
Any suggestions for a better respirator?
ThanksThanks,
Barry G. Sumpter

Barry: I was there yesterday. Triton have a stand and I think the respirator is still on the market. Can't comment on the parts situation.

Yesterday we gathered at the eastern coffee place; when facing the forum desk, turn 90 degrees and proceed at a safe pace until the kiosk appears on your right, stop, rotate 90 degrees to the right ... (better quit before I put any newbies off
)
Cheers, Ern
