Default The elusive product known as Danish wax!

Great site. Anyone know where I can get my hands on some Danish Wax in Melbourne? I need to restore some Danish teak armchairs. Cheers

No, definitely Danish Wax. It's a Wattyl product.

Had some many years ago, get a Wattyl agent to order it for you.

It's strange it's so hard to get hold of. Danish wax was actually recommended to me by a rep at Tessa furniture. You can use it with a 000 grade of steel wool to remove a smidgen of the top surface of wood without going too deep. It's ideal for Tessa's armchairs that are constructed of laminated wood layers pressed into form. Ie, ones that aren't not solid timber.
