Window problems
Dear all,
Got 2 questions for the window experts.
1. Had a broken pane on a metal frame window. Changed the glass, used the correct putty for metal and after one year, the putty is still soft in places. Do you think the putty was bad to begin with, or is there another explanation?
2. Also got some timber awning windows that use a pivot action to open. One is too rotten to fix but I can't work out to get the whole thing down. Could someone please tell me how to detach the window so that I can replace it.
Thank you in advance for any replies.
