What speed, Rocker? (I can't wait to give Optus the heave-ho.)

These things are PERFECT scout projects, both to build and to sail. Wait for Michael Storer's metric version of the plan (it will be free).
To digress though, I saw a boat last week called Bouy Scout.
Rocker, technically I pay $70 per month with the big T, (512k) but have just been given a new modem, and four months free in exchange for a twelve months contract. Combine that with 10% off our mobile and fixed phone calls and you find our internet is pretty much at no cost.
So I'll rephrase my original... for $250, I get about three weeks phone, mobile and internet!
Cheers,
P

Peter,
Unlike you, I very rarely use my phone or mobile, so free calls would not benefit me at all.
Compared to dial-up, my broadband is also effectively free, since I now no longer have to pay for a second line for the Internet.

$250 = milling cost for about 2M3 of log = about 1M3 of timber
