    Default Estimating weatherboard material coverage

    Hi,

Have an external wall to clad, that is 8.5metres in length and 2.7metres in height. I'm going to be using JH Linea weatherboard 180mm profile width that has an effective coverage width. Linea lengths are 4.2m . Would 45 lengths of this be a suitable amount to order?

The effective coverage of a 180 is 150mm, I workout you would need 37 lengths, but allow 10% waste (the waste is to allow for boards that don't fall on vertical studs), so 41 boards

yes I had meant to write the 150mm coverage, it was in my head didn't seem to get to keyboard.

Thank you, it helps confirm what I need.
