Brett standing around and supervising as usual. I wish I had of been there, they are always great days but it wasn't to be unfortunately. That vege garden looks like it would make a great shed, I bet the veges will be pleased when they see it.

Thank you all for coming along to make the day a success, especially the very long distance travellers, Simplicity & Sally, and Bushmiller.
Also, thanks for the assistance in putting the metal sheets & sleepers away - it was done in no time!
Lola and I very much enjoyed the day, and it's only the presence of a great bunch of people that makes them such good days.
Really good to see some new faces too, and hope they can come again to future FGTs.

Blue Mountains FGT #7 - Sunday 20th Nov - All welcome
Firstly a big thanks to Lola and Brett
For being such great hosts.
We were made more than welcome
Even know we were out of townies
I was especially grateful being given a private tour of the large grounds and the white glove shed on Saturday afternoon.
Wow ,that man knows how to keep things tidy and clean .
We were also privately invited to the after party after the GTG ,yes sorry ,it was special guests invite only.
Were we shared a few more lies ,wine ,listened and enjoyed Paul(Bush millers wisdom)on life and the universe
.I also was given a few tips from Brett regarding Tung oil thanks mate ..
We both had a blast .
And will definitely consider coming again if were invited !!!!
Brett it was me who through those scrap pieces of timber on your work shop floor after the gtg.
Because Paul (Bushmiller)
Told me to do it and I just reacted I feel bad
But he made me do it
Cheers Matt/Sally

Found in NCA's car:
a hunk of steel with a worm eaten handle and a piece of unidentified (bloomin hard) hardwood
froe_8355.jpg
anyway turned the unidentified hardwood into a froe handle and found a stray bit of merbau to make a basher (mallet for the uneducated)regards

Fletty found a froe at Bellingen Market with a crack in the blade- no sale
Bushmiller gave Pacman a long term borrow of the froe blade
Fencefurniture donated the Handle for the Froe
Pat and Sawdustmaker offered to turn the handle
NCArcher transported the bits
Sawdustmaker made the handle and the mallet
WoodCollector donated some timber
Pacman gave some to some members and carved some spoons
