Don't like it as much either, especially the difference between the read and unread thread colours, they are too similar.

I don't mind the colour scheme, but do we have to have an ad right in the middle of the post..probably to the right of this in fact... I appreciate the need to fund the site but is this the best place for an ad? I've not seen this used in any other forum and it is really quite irritating..

Are you referring to the bit I've circled?

If so, same colours, unread is bold and has a symbol at start whereas read is standard and no symbol, pretty easy for me to see differencesCheers

Sorry Acco, i still don't think there is enough difference. Neil tells me they will change though.
Thanks to a thread by pcmcgee i also think there can be only 1 utube vid in each post, so any post with multiple vids will be changed and vids lost?
I know there is a lot to do but it seems the search engine is down too, at least no matter what i search for i get "sorry no results"1915 17"x50" LeBlond heavy duty Lathe, 24" Queen city shaper, 1970's G Vernier FV.3.TO Universal Mill, 1958 Blohm HFS 6 surface grinder, 1942 Rivett 715 Lathe, 14"x40" Antrac Lathe, Startrite H225 Bandsaw, 1949 Hercus Camelback Drill press, 1947 Holbrook C10 Lathe.

All good from this end. Like the new format, and well done to the team - it appears to have been painless, but I'm sure it wasn't.
One thing - there doesn't seem to be an icon to click to go to the UCP. Or do I now just click the settings icon?

Market Place and some other forums will be going under their own tabs when we can sort them out. For now I have enabled it as a full forum section which can now be found directly beneath the Musical Instruments Section, which eventually will also be on a tab, along with Metal Work, Wooden Boats and Library.
The implementation of the tabs will serve to shorten the main page of the forum so less scrolling to do down the page and bring the main page back to pretty much all woodworking related.

You can 'like' posts, and add little comments to peoples reputation from the tool-bar at the bottom of each post.
Not sure about that, seems a little too "face-bookish".
cheers
