This reminded me of a news report on our local TV channel.

There is a place near Wauchope (Pron War Hope not like the NT one that is .Walk up) called Long Flat. this story concerns a man who worked at a sawmill at Wauchope but lived at Long Flat. It appears that this mill worker ended up under a load of logs that was being moved about in the yard by a skidder; a very serious accident.

The man was taken to Port Mcquarie Hospital. The news report stated:

At a Wauchope sawmill a man was crushed by rolling logs in an accident today, Ambulance officer and paramedics where called to the scene and later a Long Flat man was admitted to the Port Mcquarie hospital.
