Got to agree Cliff.
Surely like banners in the past it could have close button - once you've seen it or acknowledged the banner it could/should be eliminated.
Those of us who go to our own state woodshows or members from overseas who have no opportunity/wish to attend could do without it being shoved in your face on every page. Many I know end up boycotting products/companies who work this way with TV, newspaper, radio or letterbox flyers. In your face may bring a result which is not desirable by the advertiser.

I was thinking that it might be an option for the other woodworking shows.
Or maybe create a special script for Cliff profile so that he gets all the ads in big writing.
