"This is a true story that occurred in Hawaii: A robber broke
into a doctor's home one night and the robber pointed a gun at the
doctor and wanted money. The doctor told him that he did not have any
but would he take a check. The robber said yes...and the doctor asked
who to make the check out to and the robber told him. Needless to say

town just to make a mess as vandals are known to do. After messing up
the ground floor, he was proceeding up the elevator to the second
floor to continue his mission, but the elevator got stuck between
floors. Thinking fast, he used the emergency telephone in the

"Some Boeing employees on the airfield decided to steal a life raft
from one of the 747s. They were successful in getting it out of the
plane and home. When they took it for a float on the river, they were
surprised by a coast guard helicopter coming towards them. It turned
out that the chopper was homing in on the emergency locator that is
activated when the raft is inflated. They were 'rescued'."
