Hi from new member
Hi, i have just joined after a couple of days looking around and seeing some great information.
I have just turned 40 and always wanted to be a builder (electrician instead - non practising due to back trouble) so thought i would start my mid life crisis by convincing the minister for finance and entertainment that i need to buy a scms to help out in the new house we just bought (50 year old weatherboard in need of some TLC).
Anyway, i plan to do some minor projects around the house and can see this forum being an invaluable resource.

G'Day & Welcome "dgp",
You'll find a bunch of very helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum.
There's also a "reno forum" run by the same people who do this one,
maybe worth a look with a 50 year old weatherboard house to fix up.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, Crowie
