Wangaratta Chronicle
An Englishman was driving his Range Rover around Wangaratta looking for a farm so he could start a new life in Australia, he was driving past a paddock when he saw a young boy about ten years old being chased by a large irate bull.
Without any hesitation the Englishman stopped his car, jumped over the fence and grabbed the bull, wrestled it to the ground and broke it's neck. He ensured the young lad was alright and was walking back to his car when he was stopped by a bystander.
The bystander announced he was a journalist from the Wangaratta Chronicle and he said he saw the whole event and wanted to put a story in the paper. The Englishman explained who he was and what he was doing and what happened and agreed to the story.
The next day the headlines on the paper read
POMMY BASTARD KILLS CHILDS PET.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.
