Default Evening... or probably morning to most of you lot :p..

English guy here, just starting to get interested in a bit of woodwork/DIY/furniture restoration since my other expensive hobby (doing up cars) got too expensive and unwife friendly, anyway, this forum seemed to be the friendliest/most useful from the ones I found so I'll be asking advice and expecting some shouting at for my cock ups in due course... after a quick read through I'm expecting some yelling at cos I've already battered an old barley leaf table with nitro moors... I'll wack up a thread about that in an advice section once I've taken some photo's and got em on photobucket...

sod all snow here mate, just a load of slush... still... once I've earned enough to move out to Taiwan with the wife's folks I'll be laughing at the silly climate you've got over there... (kinda jealous of all the exotic critters you get though... the missus freaked out in Major style last time we were out with her rents and I caught a rat snake, she wouldn't let me keep it...)

    Welcome tenman!
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Regards, Woodwould.

Welcome to the forum. Do ask questions that's the way that they generally get answered.

Hi Tenman and welcome. I think you'll find this site a great resource as you get into woodwork.
