Sanding finish
The initial construction of my 6mm Gaboon ply 3m punt is at an end and I've started smoothing the rough bits. Ideas please - what grit should I work down to? So far I've used from 80 to 120 and that's feeling pretty good.
The punt is to be epoxied, primed/undercoated and then two finishing coats applied when the weather is a touch cooler.

you may not have to go much further. 180 would probably be as far as you need or at most 220 considering the finish you are going to put on it. Good luck.
Reality is no background music.
