Melbourne Cup
For all us sand gropers who are who are miles away on the other side of Aus how about all you Victorians members posting a list of sure fire tips on the likely winners on the Melbourne Cup so that we can make well informed selection on the likely winners.
Perhaps a successful Trifecta selection may enable one of us to splash out and buy a top of the range table saw or a selection of Festool power tolls.
Come on we are waiting it is only a few hours till the race is run, we are waiting
Cheers Mac

Don't rely on me.
The only thing that I know about horses is that they have a leg on each corner, you put hay in the front end and get manure out the backTom

My bet is that the TAB will be the big winner.
PeterThe other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

The results of my splurge on the Melbourne Cup was for an outlay of $5.00 I won $0.00.
Bets I layed on for the behalf of my daughter who currently lives in Dubai for an outlay of $100.00 (ex my pocket) she won $270.00.. All I have to do now is get back my $100.00 plus my handling fee .
I guess you could say overall I had a great day.

When i was a kid my mother told me
A fool and his money is soon parted
nothing to do with horse racing/gambling has caused me to change my belief in the trueness of that statement.
My outlay nil, my interest nil. if you want someone who cares try 137 228 (yep the RACV)
Cheersregards
