They are really 'special' in the 'Shire' - its an area in southern Sydney with limited access to the rest of the world - it used to be unique in being the only Shire Council in the Sydney Metro area, all the others being Municipal Councils, but changes in the Local Government Act stopped that, but they have been known for being very 'precious' & 'NIMBY' for decades. Everyone else thinks they are a bunch of vacant headed beach bums on a good day.
