Logoff now and don't logon till monday. It'll be gone by then. :U Unless is late
Hi Cliff,
You Could Print out the Sheet & save $5, catch a plane, & like I said ,
Come to a Real Wood Show & leave a few $$$$'s in Vic.
In all seriousness, It is a Great Show, & held in a Great Area, with room to burn, & plenty to see & buy.
Last Year, I Stepped out Jim & Irene's Stand, & it was 47 Steps Long, Magnificent to say the least!
Then, you also have Neil & Pauline's Stand, with ALL the UBeaut Stuff.
Good one Cliffy... now its even bigger:D
Just goes to show which show needs the most advertising Cliff lok their even trying to get interstates there to build numbers can't do it in such a small state.
Ahh, jealousy's a curse :)
Ditto ?
Just add "https://www.woodworkforums.com/f190/mel-t-www-show-33-3-off-entry-141300/ " to Adblock Plus, and that should do it in.
Hi Cliff,
My mouse has got this little wheel set into the top of it and what I've found out is that if I roll it with my left index fin..no hang on..any finger, the banner heads north for the summer.
No charge for this technicackle advice.
Regards,
Geoff.
It is bloody annoying. :~
Is Victoria a state or a shire ? can't quite remember....
Not a state, it is a condition.
Are there ads on the site? I wouldn't know....!
Greasemonkey is good for tampering with site code.
Got to agree Cliff.
Surely like banners in the past it could have close button - once you've seen it or acknowledged the banner it could/should be eliminated.
Those of us who go to our own state woodshows or members from overseas who have no opportunity/wish to attend could do without it being shoved in your face on every page. Many I know end up boycotting products/companies who work this way with TV, newspaper, radio or letterbox flyers. In your face may bring a result which is not desirable by the advertiser.
:roflmao:At least something positive came out of it. Cliffy, that's the best contribution in decades to an already rich Aussie vernacular! Days later I'm still:roflmao2:. It's got a very piquant 3rd Millenium edge to it.
(if it's not originally yours then STFU because LLSS)
I do, I do, but why should I have to?
I was thinking that it might be an option for the other woodworking shows.
Or maybe create a special script for Cliff profile so that he gets all the ads in big writing. :U
Now that it's almost over I'll tell you that you can click on the red X's to dismiss the banner :D.
Yep.
'cept the red X wasn't there until yesdy
So lets take bets on when the banner will disappear! :D Midnight?
Wrong, done now, just got home.
Thank you.:2tsup:
Can we please have the little X to dismiss it next time?
