I worked in a music shop once and the manager & her partner received an invite to a Proclaimers single launch. They ended up on the front table in front of the stage. The next day they told us "if you go and see the Proclaimers, either don't sit in the front row, or take an umbrella".Quote:

Originally saw this in England around the time that TV was first invented. It was put on the BBC and was done with sock puppets that were sheep. The song went through about 10 iterations, As each one finished you would think that the song had ended but the other puppet would then start it up again by saying:
be-doop-be-doop. For several weeks after this the whole of England was going around saying be-doop-be-doop. It was fun. :)
Does anybody remember that show lamb chops or something like that, where it was that lady with the baby lamb puppet on her hand? Well if you do you are sure as hell going to remember the song they sang at the end of every damn show titled "This is the song that never ends". Well, because i read this post it has now reappeared and is circling my head 50 times a second. So unfortunatly I'm going to have to share with all of you the gift of song...
This is the song that never ends,
Yes it goes on and on my friends.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
But they'll continue singing it forever just because...

And it goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on. And do you know why? It's because it's the song that never f***ing ends! :) :) Ohh it's just as bad as that sultana bran ad on tv. you know the one, sultana's from the grape vine.
Ahh well, plesent dreams everybody. I know i won't be sleeping with those songs in my head for about another 5 years. But all is not lost, the less I sleep, the more I can woodwork :)
Nik.
