In-Fill Wall construction
Hi all, I have a requirement to build in a space between a concrete slab and some 1st floor timber joists. The first floor joists extend out to form the joists of a deck. The space is about 2.6m x 2.6m. I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas on dealing with potential water/moisture ingress not only under the wall frame but through the top plate joint at the 1st floor bearers. The non-structural in-fillwall will be exposed to rain somewhat and dripping water...
