Maximum weight for hanging on plasterboard
Hi
Looking at getting a clock for our new room and was wondering what weight is okay to hang off the plasterboard. Will try and put it onto a stud, but may not be a stud where we want to fix it. So how much weight can you safely hang off plasterboard?
Cheers

Ramset recommends max of 10kg for their wallmate & 20 for the togglemate (toggle version of the wallmate - good product)
I reckon I'd be sharing the load among a couple of fasteners if I was approaching that loading though.

Thanks for that. One clock I looked at is wrought iron, just under 3 kg, so should be no problem.
