Pressed metal walls/Skirting boards
Hi there,
Have already read the posts regarding removing skirting boards.....
I wanted to see if you should use the same method if you have pressed metal walls.
Haven't attempted to remove any yet....I'd be devestated if I did any damage! (In one area of the house, the wall is kind of pushed in/dented in a few spots). I hope to be able to fix this somehow once the skirting is off.
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks a bunch!

I can not recall seeing pressed metal walls before ( in Australia ). I have no idea how you would remove the skirtings becuase it may the skirtings that are holding the metal on.
Can you post a few pics ??

I have pressed metal walls ... and I too would hate to see them damaged!
You can't lever the skirts off as you normally would becuse the tin is generally only nailed to a few quite thin battens. It dents very easily.
The only place I had toremove the skirts was in an areas where the tine was already damaged so it didn't matter.
You could try to locate the nails and take the heads off? Or, screw into the face of the board and use the screw to pull the board off ... depends how well it is fixed. Good luck ... but don't push on the tin.
