Don't know don't watch them, saw part of one interview they did with sophia loren (she is 73 now and still a beautiful lady) and to be asked at a press confrence if she farted lost me, Mabye i'm just a bit spoilt, use to watch norman gunsten he did his interviews with humor

Gunston! Now THERE was a comedian of the finest order! Still recall that interview he TRIED to do with that little American actress... couldnt get a word in edgewise cause she wouldnt stop phissin herself!!! She totally lost the plot with him Funny god I couldnt stop laughing and even now thinking about his confused look and her gigglin cracks me up
aahh but back to the chasers... seems to me they may be whisked of to Gitmo for a short stay they are a tad over the top I think often dangerous with what they do to try to get a rise... sometimes however they do put dipstick pollies on the backstep... which IS good!!
Would have liked them to have actually got in front of Bush... just to see HIS face!! Now THAT would have been hysterical but then I just dont like that idiotBelieve me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

Youve got to love them havent you, what they have done is shown the pompous histeria called APEC for what it is. Poor cops who had to do the deed, just made the Chasers national heros

they shouldn't have been arrested because they should have been turned away before they accessed a secure area. The police took their embarrassment at their own ineptitude out on the chasers. What if it was a couple of car loads of suicide bombers the police were opening barricades for "because they had a little flag on their bonnet".
All this expense and all this inconvenience and it's that easy to drive up to Bush's hotel__________________________________________

The chasers
It's a win situation for everybody involved - almost.
The police would have been happy as it gave them a little excitement in an otherwise boring job.
The Chasers would be happy because of the publicity they received. You can't buy that sort of publicity.
The ABC would be happy because they will probably be able to move the show to 7pm and replace the news because of the publicity.
The only losers will be the silly buggers who allowed them in.

Not the brightest of acts, there are snipers in the roof tops and all forms of security in place and that stunt did expose them and others to some risk. Certainly they should not have got through as far as they did, but the fact that they ended up being detained without any over the top behaviour from the police does show professionalism on the cops part despite what appears to be an initial slip up.
The show can be funny and at other times makes me cringe, this time if they end up with a few days in the clink it will simply give the ratings a boost. If they end up in gaol they knew the risk, they had been warned, and internationally have done us no favours, who cares.

So what is the real truth?
Some are saying they had a PERMIT for the areas they went into and were stopped when trying to go beyond that. From the media's point of view simply saying they were stopped in their tracks isn't half the news of being able to say they got through a few checkpoints and were finally caught.
Hard to tell where the truth stops and fantasy begins..

So had the organizers. The chaser group had put out a press release last week saying they were going to do something big.. Do you think they would have let their peoplke know to keep an eye on them......
Any punishment metered out to them will be only to cover the embarrassment of the security organisers. All they did was show the security for what it was, a shamI may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

how the heck did they know what he'd be in or any other person attending and where did they get it this makes the supplier an accessory??
ok the 4x4 are standard issue for security USA
With any luck an future president will think twice about coming to AU and save us the hassle.
This APEC has caused more hassles than many people will know about.
My daughter for one almost tossed her job in over having to be at work today along with just 2 others to service the whole country while every other person demanded and gets their Public holiday.
Oh they are located no where near the city Miperra.

Yes. They broke the law and should have been arrested.
They should also be rewarded for harmlessly showing an incredible flaw in the security net. The good ol' security bods seem to have a problem if you haven't hijacked a plane using a corkscrew don't they?
It shows the true value of all those snipers though doesn't it?
