end grain finish
G'day, am making chunky tas oak end grain coffee table, like a butchers block, all rounded corners and was wondering the best way to finish the top? I was going to fill with feast watson sanding sealer and then try gel coat...any better ideas? Hoopy

You answered your own question(sealer then top coat), no real need for the gel coat stuff just use normal poly for hardyness.
