Holden Fan
Anyone here love cars. I am a Holden fan and have been since i was born.
I take my wife to the V8 supercar racing at sandown every year
and enjoy the racing!!Mr Woodmachinist

That's why they put proper suspension under them and call them "supercars" when they race. They just wouldn't be competitive or even safe if they had production suspensions.
So what relevance does a seven litre engine block, and a car company badge, which as far as I can tell are the only actual "Ford" or "Holden" components in the car, have to the actual brand?
My Suzuki 4WD has an alloy twin-cam head, alloy block and wet sleeves out of a hard alloy. Don't get me started on the electronics. It's considered to be a bit of a dinosaur technologically, and it's only 20 years younger than the basic Falcadore.
The Seppos haven't got to where Citroen was in 1967 yet.
Bizarre.

Have raced it before, we hold a regular competition weekend on Melbourne cup weekend in Camperdown (Near colac). Though it was canceled last year due to political presure, and this year the same people are begging us to come back (They realised how much cash we actually spent in their little town), though I think it wont be on again this year (Its to late to organise). Just cause she is old doesnt mean she is slow, she will still exceed the speed limit on the freeway, and has caused a number of people to double check their speedo when I have overtaken them.
One of these days I will get all those parts I have collected together and build a race special using period parts, that will be scary, ive seem what a hot period A model ford can do.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
